The Hall Airspeed Indicator or Wind Meter was designed to fill the need for a simple, rugged, and reliable airspeed indicator, hand-held wind meter, and anemometer.

Since 1976, it has been the standard wind measuring and airspeed measuring instrument for hang gliders, paragliders and ultralight aircraft as well as many other uses such as wind surfing, kite flying, and radio controlled model airplanes.

Although of simple design, the Hall Airspeed Indicator or Wind Meter is very accurate. Each one is individually calibrated.
